Internship organization

This is a touroperator with almost 30 years of experience in Costa Rica. They offer tourist services for groups, independent travelers and cruise ship clients. They compose diverse tourist packages and work out all the details themselves. They also organize meetings and special events, mainly for conservation purposes.

Mission: To make each journey in Costa Rica not only a perfect vacation, but also an enriching life experience; one which combines all the elements of fun, safe adventure, learning and personal growth, while promoting a greater understanding of nature and humankind. Each of the employees believe that responsible travel can help us find that common ground we share with all the creatures on our planet.

 

Activities for interns

Internship possibilities:

 

·         Sales department: improve the website by adding attractive pictures, changing descriptions and working on social media activities.

·         Marketing department: improve the text and lay out of trip proposals and brochures

·         CSR department: measurement and evaluation of sustainable practices. Check touristic locations and logistics on their level of sustainability and find ways to improve them.

·         Assist with different marketing projects or work on one specific marketing assignment.

Remarks

The Chief Operating Officer of the company who holds an MBA Degree in Education and Business Administration will be your supervisor. They have 29 people working in the office. It is necessary to speak at least basic Spanish at the start of your internship. On-Stage can organize one for you in the Central Valley of Costa Rica.
