Description organization

This organization started about 20 years ago. It helps up to 53 people with a disability and their families. The clients are between 18 and 54 years old. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, special education, industrial arts and social work are the programs that have been implemented to help participants best develop their possibilities and be as independent as possible.

The organization which oversees special education in Costa Rica is the National Council for Special Education and Rehabilitative Education (Consejo Nacional de Rehabilitación y Educación - CNREE). At the moment of this writing, 17 professionals are active working at the Center.

Supervision

The director is your main supervisor but depending on your field of study, another supervisor can be assigned as well. 

 

Requirements

Spanish A2 level (min). This place is closed all regular school vacations and public holidays.
